The latex milk, extracted from the rubber tree sap, is vacuum-sealed, flash-frozen, and then vulcanized. This meticulous process results in a foam with an open-cell structure, making it lighter and more breathable than Dunlop latex. The technique, developed in the mid-20th century, allows for precise control over the foam’s firmness and density. Talalay latex provides a luxurious, supportive, and durable material, ideal for pillows and mattresses, and is favored for its superior comfort and resilience.
Do not wash the latex pillow in a washing machine or dry it in a dryer, as this can damage the latex material. Hand washing or spot cleaning is the recommended method for cleaning. Please do not soak the pillow, as this will damage the foam.
Cleaning Recommendation: Spot clean any stains or spills on the pillow with a moderate detergent and lukewarm water on a regular basis.
